Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah inaugurated the 250-bed hospital in Afarin Fardis on Thursday after opening the first smart testing and quality assurance line for fast and ultra-fast electric vehicle charging in Iran at MAPNA Electrical Construction and Control Engineering Company (MECO).
Behrouz Taghvae-nia, the head of Behafarin Hospital, said in the ceremony: This hospital has inpatient departments, emergency departments, three operating rooms, maternity, ICU, CCU, laboratory, radiology, clinic, pharmacy, CT scan, mammography, and active densitometry, and more specialized departments such as nuclear medicine and dialysis.
He stated: “The contract to purchase the MRI device has been signed and will be installed in the next few months, and people will be able to use the services of this device.”
The head of the private hospital added to Afarin Fardis: “Specialized forces such as cardiology, anesthesia, orthopedics, internal medicine, and pediatrics are stationed in this hospital, and emergency specialists are used more during the night shift so that they can admit patients who are in critical condition.”
Taghvae Nia stated: “The ambulance is located in the hospital’s emergency department. If needed, medical centers can quickly transport the patient to the hospital.”
The 250-bed private hospital in Afarin is built on a 5,000-square-meter plot of land with a 28,000-square-meter floor area and 12 floors. Construction of this hospital began 10 years ago and is now operational.
This hospital has a landing and takeoff point for a rescue helicopter. Previously, a 280-bed government hospital was opened in Fardis County last year.
The densely populated city, which was one of the most deprived areas of the country in terms of hospital beds before 1402, now has two well-equipped, super-specialized hospitals with state-of-the-art facilities.
